WHY DID WE CREATE THE FOUNDATION? There is absolutely no doubt in our minds that Lindsay would have continued to accomplish great things in her life. She was passionate and chose to make every moment count. She wholeheartedly gave her gifts of intelligence and compassion to the world. It didn’t matter if you were an orphan in Tanzania, a classmate from the U of C, an opposing hockey player, or a rancher from Cochrane – globally you were treated with respect. |

The family and the world have lost someone who made a difference every day of her life and who was going to do great things in the future. We cannot let Lindsay’s dream go unfulfilled. In order to continue to fulfill this dream, we will carry on her legacy with the establishment of the LINDSAY LEIGH KIMMETT MEMORIAL FOUNDATION administered by The Calgary Foundation. You will continue to make the world a better place, as she surely would have done, by supporting Lindsay's foundation.
 Funds will be used for the following:
- Enduring Scholarships at Cochrane High Schools
- Enduring Scholarship at the University of Calgary Medical School
- Lindsay's Kids Minor Hockey Sponsorships
- Funding facilities and projects for youth in Cochrane.
- Funding for teaching and Medical Equipment for U of C Medical School and Calgary and area hospitals.
