Dear Kelly, Diane and to Lindsays great brothers. I knew Lindsay not well but it didn't take much to know just how special Lindsay was and to all she helped in this lifetime. I think of her often and pay I respects to her. I think of Lindsay and of her loving family and how blessed we all were to have her here. Our families didn't get together but you Kelly and Diane have meant alot to me over the past twenty years. I will continue to visit Lindsay and keep you all in my thoughts. Becky

I never knew it was possible to think about one person this much. You are with me every minute of every day. I try not to think of all the things we would have done together. I try not to think of all the memories we would have made. Instead, I rely on what your Mom and Dad said: "We will not let ourselves think 'what if' about anything." I lean on this and use it as a crutch to remind myself that it is not fair to your memory to dwell on what could have been. Instead, I think of all the good times and everything we accomplished as cousins, teammates, and above all, friends.
Every night before I fall asleep I hope you are in my dreams. Often you are, and those are the good days. I wear your memory like a warm blanket on my shoulders, until the feeling eventually wears off and I hope for another dream.
As I begin another year without you, I can only wish for the dreams that bring you to life in my mind. I am determined to leave the “what ifs” behind, and focus on everything that is good in my life. This includes you, and I know that you are with me always.
Love Kelsey

On December 31, 1981 we were blessed with your birth, our beautiful baby girl, an incredible gift to us. On February 17, 2008 as a brilliant young lady and a gift to the world, you were taken from us. We love you immeasurably and miss you so very much. All of us cherish your memory and every minute of every hour we hold you in our thoughts, our hearts, and our souls.
Love you forever Lindsay,
Mom, Dad, Taylor, & Reid

Kelly, you and your family have been on my mind, and in my heart over the Christmas holidays, and especially with Lindsay's birthday coming up this week.
Good thoughts and prayers for you all, including Lindsay on the other side.
The shining star that she is has not been diminished, it never will.
May the veil continue to thin, and the communication of Love always stay strong between Father and Daughter, Mother and Daughter, and brother and Sister.

Sorry Scott and I couldn't make it to the golf tournament we were in Mexico. But when we returned we heard all about it and all the money that was raised, that is fantastic news!
Lindsay's memory will live on through this amazing organization.

I have become acquainted with this remarkable young woman only through stories from her dad, and this web site.
Despite a Mother's devastated heart, a Fathers devastated heart, and her brothers devastated hearts, you will come through this as a family.
Your daughter is still with you all, and as you work through your loss, you will see more and more signs that this is true.
Continued healing to you all.

I saw the sun shining today, and what did I see...
I saw Lindsay smiling at me.
I felt the wind blowing today, and what did I feel...
I felt Lindsay's arms wrapped around me.
I heard the birds singing today, what did I hear...
I heard Lindsay's laughter singing in my ears.
Sometimes my days are so dark and so lonely...
I feel sad and think, if only...
But when I look around to see what I can see...
I see and feel Lindsay...she'll always be with me.

Please accept our most sincere condolances on the overwhelming and tragic loss of your loving and "totally" beautiful daughter, Lindsay. Although we didn't have the priviledge of knowing Lindsay we hope that our thoughts for you may be of some comfort at this time. After reading the eulogies we only begin to realize what a beutiful person she was and how very proud you must be. Let your memories of her be consoling for you as she will, no doubt, be guiding the angels in heaven.

Dear Family,
I too am working on building by own angel. She's pretty amazing. The love and nuturing you put into your angel is inspiring. And the world is a better place for the job you did as her parents. In some small way, I share your loss, and I share your sorrow.
I don't expect there is any consolation in your loss save for the passage of time. Yet it is also true that your memories are overflowing with events and stories of pure bliss. Your angel left you with these gifts and I know you treasure them.
Respectfully yours,
Dale Shirt

My condolences to the entire Kimmett Family on the passing away of your most precious daughter. Her legacy, through this remarkable Website, will be a continuing inspiration for my daily life and will be shared, with your permission,in Costa Rica and Panama to show why each and every day in our lives is important and even the little things (brilliantly shown in her photo gallery) are what motivates us to excel in whatever career of life's dreams and goals we cherish most. Lindsay is loved and missed by all the members of her class. It's so hard to believe that she's gone and it is a loss of a great future physician to the world. I always admired her determination and strong will - she always knew what she wanted and how to get it. My thoughts are with her whole family.

Although I did not know her I can now certainly appreciate her accomplishments and her caring nature. She gave this world her best in all she did and I know you will miss her always.
I'm sending you all my love and caring, and hope that somehow, with the help of your family, friends and Lindsay's friends that you can somehow come out of this terrible tragedy with increased strength to carry on with your lives.
I look forward to seeing you Dianne at a bookclub discussion on Eat, Pray, Love (when you feel to can). Sincerely, Eleanor
